The OBT Channel Assignment Page

(Trunking System)

The Other Band Trunking (OBT) Channel Assignment Page allows you to view or define frequency-related parameters for OBT Type II communications. These parameters are used by the CPS to validate all OBT Type II Control Channel and Failsoft frequencies that are entered. These settings apply for individual Trunking Systems.

	Once the parameters for the OBT channel assignments are defined, Trunking System Control Channel frequencies and Trunking Personality Failsoft frequencies may be defined.
	Trunking Systems are referenced to a Trunking Personality. Trunking Systems settings can then become functional for all Trunking - channel types.

The OBT Channel Assignment page is only viewable when the radio is operating within a UHF / VHF - frequency band.

When the System Type field is set to "Type II", and

when the Type II Frequency Band field is set to a VHF / UHF - frequency band.
